LJD'S WEEKLY CATCH UP: Thank God Fear The Walking Dead is Over.

Yeah, I get it, I really do, this show started slow on purpose, to show us what L.A. was like during the early days of the plague.

It was so damn slow!!!

Sure, there were walkers in the first five minutes of the first episode, and another not long after.

Surely people being bitten are coming thick and fast due to the millions of people living in L.A.?

Surely the infected are gaining ground to the point that those 12 supposed safe zones would have walkers on their door steps...

Well they did have two...

Ugh, the poor dead dog!

Denial is a river in Egypt and there were big doses of it through the whole six episodes as to what was happening, but I do understand it. We're so used to TWD after five years that it's hard to go back to slow moving bullshit.

And it's a real pity some of it was never explained, like who was flashing the mirror/light from beyond and why did they kill the person/people who were doing it? What happened to the fat kid that was dropped off home, and why did he so desperately want such a pathetic knife back? What happened to the boyfriend and would he have eaten his parents?

And don't get me started on the druggie kid needing a shower, a haircut and a damn good kick up the arse. Seriously dude, take this time to detox, you need to get your head on straight. The girl needed a slap and so did the other son.

Then there was all the people they bothered to introduce and never followed up on.

I guess we're so used to zombie stuff happening at a fast pace that this is quite boring.

Thank God TWD is back next week and we do know what's going on.
