QUOTE OF THE WEEK! - that lead to dumb arses like this one!

Quote of the week -

IF YOU TALK LIKE A KNOB AND LOOK LIKE A KNOB,
THEN YOU'RE KEVIN FUCKING RUDD!

You don't want to have a baby why is everyone judging you? Since when did going forth and multiplying become our civic duty?

So this was the title of an article in Australia's latest Cleo magazine, similar to Cosmo for those who don't have it, and is about how we've become blazè when talking about having babies, and how it now extends to not having them and how when you approach your late twenties and early thirties, the future of your womb suddenly becomes everyone's business.
And so a paragraph in this story had me reading it two and three times to make sure I'd read it right.
And I quote from the story -
Nina Funnell, 26, a researcher at the University of NSW, feels there's still a "backward attitude out there that women have an obligation to reproduce."
Funnell wrote about her concerns earlier this year after attending a function where Prime Minister Kevin Rudd gave the keynote address. Among talk about the crisis of Australia's ageing population, she had an interesting run in with the PM.
"After Rudd came off stage, he spoke to me and a few other under 30's," she wrote. "My friend introduced me to him, dropping in that I'm completing a PhD. At this, Rudd rolled his eyes and, in a terse voice lacking any sense of irony, remarked that it's the "excuse" that "all" young women are using nowadays to avoid starting families."
Her opinion piece quickly caused a stir in the blogosphere, and while Funnell believes that Rudd is no mysoginist, she admits that she was "in shock" after hearing the Prime Minister's reaction.
"I think there is a lot of pressure placed on young women to start families, and I believe it does impact on their trajectory, their career path, and the decisions they make about their education," Funnell explains.Ironically, feminism may have also contributed to the pressure associated with motherhood.
"There's this notion of the superwoman who's meant to do it all - this includes managing a career and a family - it's still one of the hurdles that we have to get through," says Funnell.
Now, while we know it's up to the higher power if or when we have a kid, my gripe is with Kevin Rudd.
Kevin Rudd has not lived up to ANY of the promises he made while running for Prime Minister. His government has failed on so many levels, and have even been accused of being murderers (the insulation debacle for those that live here). He has shown himself to be nothing but a knob of the highest order and I hate his guts.
WITH A PASSION!!!!
He also has a daughter and an extremely rich and successful wife, who CLEARLY continued working while raising children.
Although in that case, you'd think he'd shut his fucking mouth and say nothing.
At least our opposition leader Tony Abbott had enough sense to ask his wife, three daughters and female friends about women.
But no, Kevin fucking Dudd had to go and be a fucking arsehole AGAIN.
It's bad enough he can't run the country but now he thinks he has the right to have a go at women who don't have children at 15 or 18. This woman was 26 FOR FUCK'S SAKE!!!!
TWENTY. FUCKING. SIX!!!!
WHO THE FUCK DOES HE THINK HE IS CLAIMING EDUCATION IS THE REASON WOMEN AREN'T HAVING BABIES.......
WAIT.......
HE'S INSULTING EDUCATION AS WELL!!!!!!!!
WHAT A FUCKING KNOB!!!!!
I SUPPOSE HE'S GOING TO BAN EDUCATION FOR FEMALES OVER 18 NEXT!!!!
"Oh no girls, you all have to leave school at eighteen and forget about having a job or career, you'll be having baby upon baby and populating the country."
PIG. FUCKING. SHIT. I WILL!!!!
He knows he's dropping in the popularity polls, although no one ever polls me, he knows he's not living up to everyone's expectations, he knows he's not living up to his promises. He licks his lips to the point you want to tell him to get a chapstick, constantly plays with his hair thinking he's Justin Beiber, and slaps old people in rhythm.
I HATE YOU KEVING FUCKING DUDD YOU FUCKING KNOB!!!!!
IT'S ARSEHOLES LIKE YOU RUNNING THE FUCKING COUNTRY THAT WILL GRIND IT INTO THE FUCKING GROUND!!!!!!
I HATE YOU!!!!!

  1. Wasn't it Peter Costello who said "Have one for mum, one for dad and one for the country"?

Wasn't it the Howard Government who introduced the baby bonus?

Wasn't it Tony Abbott who said girls should remain virgins? And isn't telling girls not to have sex just as controlling as telling them not to get an education?

I'm not saying Rudd is any better.

They're all as bad as each other, and I can't understand why people are biased to one over the other.

  3. Scoman - they're all causing a problem everytime they open their mouths.

But seriously, blaming getting an education for not having a baby is just ridiculous!

  4. What a chauvinist PIG!!!!!!!! I would hang him by the balls... if he has any. Over here, we had MEN discussing that raped women should keep the baby if they are found pregnant. WTF?! Men constantly expect us to have a family/kids but run for their life when it pops out. If they could talk more bullshit, they'd look like a turd.
